Terms of service
1. Acceptance
By posting, browsing, or otherwise using Haypublic (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.
2. The Platform is a venue, not a party to transactions
Haypublic is a classifieds bulletin board focused on Yerevan and the rest of Armenia. The base service is free; a Pro subscription and per-listing add-ons are paid via IDram. We provide a place for users to post listings and connect. We do not:
- Verify the identity of users posting listings
- Inspect goods, properties, services, or job offers
- Hold money, broker buyer↔seller payments, or provide escrow
- Guarantee the accuracy of any listing
- Endorse or recommend any user, listing, or transaction
Anything you do with another user — viewing apartments, exchanging money, signing employment offers, accepting service work — is between you and them. You are responsible for your own due diligence. Subscription fees you pay to Haypublic are only for our access tier; they do not insure or guarantee any third-party transaction conducted through the platform.
3. Eligibility & account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.
- You must not be barred from using the Platform under applicable law or by our prior enforcement action.
- An account is required to (a) post a listing, (b) schedule or join an event, and (c) view a listing's contact details (phone number, email). Browsing the listings grid and reading category pages is open to anonymous visitors.
- You are responsible for keeping your password (and any biometric / passkey credentials enrolled on your devices) confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Biometric / passkey sign-in (WebAuthn). You may optionally enroll a device's platform authenticator (TouchID, Face ID, Android fingerprint, Windows Hello) to sign in without typing your password. Your fingerprint / face data never leaves your device; the Platform stores only the public key your device produces. You can remove an enrolled credential any time from your dashboard. Losing access to all your enrolled devices does not lock you out — you can always sign in with email + password (and reset the password by email).
4. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Rules. In summary:
- Post only listings you control. Your own job, apartment, car, item, or service.
- Be truthful. No fake listings, fake jobs, fake real estate, fake reviews, fake urgency.
- No abuse. No harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, or discriminatory job/housing posts.
- No spam. No duplicates, no reposts within 7 days, no keyword stuffing, no off-topic content.
- No scams. No phishing, advance-fee schemes, fake escrow, fake payment links, identity-theft solicitations.
- No illegal content. No drugs, weapons, sexual services, content involving minors, stolen goods, counterfeits, unlicensed services.
- No platform abuse. No bots, scrapers, rate-limit evasion, ban evasion, reverse-engineering.
5. Content you post
- You retain ownership of your listing content.
- You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, store, distribute, and moderate your content solely to operate the Platform. The license ends when you delete the listing or your data, except for backups for up to 30 days.
- You confirm that the content you post does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- You are solely responsible for the legality of what you post.
6. Moderation and removal
- Listings publish immediately and are moderated post-hoc, typically within a few hours.
- We may remove any listing, ban any user, and block any device or phone number at our discretion when these Terms or the Community Rules are violated.
- For safety reasons we may also act on listings that haven't yet broken a specific rule but raise serious abuse signals (rapid mass posting, suspicious phone reuse across many fake personas, etc).
- Severe violations (fraud, illegal goods, threats, content involving minors) are reported to law enforcement.
- Posting accounts or devices added to our blocklist may not re-register on the Platform.
- Moderation is performed by four staff roles (Almighty / Admin / Official / Support). Every staff action is recorded in an internal audit log.
6b. Subscriptions and add-ons
- Pro subscriptions are sold for fixed terms — 30 days or 365 days depending on the plan you pick. Subscriptions do not auto-renew; access lapses to Free at the end of the term unless you renew manually.
- Per-listing add-ons (Boost, Urgent, Refresh, Feature event) are one-time purchases tied to a specific listing or event. Most last 7 days; "Refresh" applies once and is not time-bound. Refresh is only available 7+ days after the listing was posted.
- Pro includes 2 free Boosts each calendar month; unused free Boosts do not roll over.
- Subscription benefits apply at the time of action: posting a 4th listing in a calendar month is permitted while your Pro subscription is active. Once Pro lapses, the per-month limit applies again from the next month, but already-published listings remain live until they expire (Free 30 days, Pro 90 days at the time of posting).
- Tier limits enforced at posting time are based on your tier at that moment; they are not retroactively applied if your tier changes later.

6c. Payments via IDram
- All paid transactions are processed by IDram, the Armenian payment gateway operated by Idram CJSC. You will be redirected to
money.idram.amto complete payment; once IDram confirms the transaction back to us, your subscription / add-on is activated automatically (typically within seconds). - We don't see, store, or transmit your card or wallet credentials. We only see the bill number, the amount, and the IDram transaction ID.
- Pricing is denominated in Armenian Dram (֏). USD figures shown on Pricing are approximations.
- If a payment fails to complete on IDram's side (declined card, cancelled by user, network error), we do not activate the subscription. You are not charged.
- Stripe support for international cards is on the roadmap; not currently active.
6d. Refunds and cancellations
- EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU for distance-selling contracts, EXCEPT when the digital service has been performed with your express consent. Activating Pro / an add-on by clicking "Pay" on IDram constitutes that consent and the right of withdrawal lapses; we refund pro-rata if you have made no use of the paid features (no listing posted that wouldn't have been allowed on Free, no Boost activated, etc.). Email turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com within 14 days of payment to request.
- Outside the 14-day window, subscription fees and add-on fees are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
- Cancellation: subscriptions don't auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel. To stop using the platform, simply don't renew. Add-ons run for their fixed duration and end automatically.
- Account bans: subscriptions and add-ons paid by an account that is later banned for breaking the Community Rules are forfeit (no refund). Bans for non-fault reasons (e.g., we detected a duplicate account in error) qualify for a pro-rata refund.
- Service shutdown: if Haypublic permanently ceases operation, active subscribers receive a pro-rata refund of their unused subscription term.
- Refunds are returned to the original IDram payment method.
7. Reports and complaints
To report a listing that breaks the rules, email turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com with the listing URL and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
8. Service availability
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available".
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, zero downtime, error-free operation, or that any listing will remain accessible indefinitely.
- We may add, change, or remove features, categories, or rate limits at any time.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of listings, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for:
- Any loss arising from a transaction with another user (rental fraud, fake job, defective goods, etc.)
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from use of the Platform
- Loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- Acts or omissions of third parties (other users, payment processors, internet service providers)
Where applicable law does not permit us to disclaim a warranty or limit liability, our total liability for paying users is capped at the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, for free users, at USD $0). For paying users we additionally honour any non-waivable mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Haypublic harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms or the Community Rules; (b) your listings or other content; (c) your interactions or transactions with other users; (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
- By you: stop using the Platform; you can ask us to delete all your data per the Privacy Policy.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or the Community Rules, suspected fraud, or other abuse, with or without notice.
- Sections 5 (Content), 9 (Disclaimers), 10 (Indemnification), 12 (Governing law), and 13 (Changes) survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
- Disputes are resolved in the competent courts of Yerevan, Armenia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
- Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have under your local law (e.g., EU consumer law, US state consumer-protection statutes).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the homepage and at haypublic.com/terms. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
