Community rules

Haypublic is a community-run classifieds platform focused on Yerevan and the rest of Armenia. The base service is free for casual use; optional Pro and Business subscriptions + per-listing add-ons (paid via IDram) unlock higher limits and visibility. Listings publish immediately once submitted; our moderation team reviews them post-hoc and removes anything that breaks the rules. Repeat offenders get their account banned and their device + phone number blocked.

1. Who can post

• You must be at least 18 years old to post.
• Posting a listing or scheduling an event requires a free Haypublic account (email + password; biometric / passkey sign-in is optional after enrollment).
• You may post only listings you personally control — your own job opening, your own apartment, your own car, your own service.
• Every listing must specify a city in Armenia. Yerevan and 30+ regional cities are supported. If your item is in a smaller village, pick "Other / village" and clarify in the description.
• One listing per item / position / property. Don't duplicate.
• One human, one identity. Don't pretend to be someone else, a different business, or a fake agency.

1b. Who can view contact info

• Anyone can browse the listings grid and see the title, description, photos, category, and city.
• To open a listing's detail page and see the seller's phone number, email, and contact name, you must be signed in. This protects posters from scraping bots and spam.
• Sign-up is free and takes about 30 seconds. After your first sign-in you can opt into biometric login (TouchID, Face ID, fingerprint, Windows Hello) so you don't have to type your password again on that device.
• Sign-in accepts email or @username + password.

1c. Plans, limits, and add-ons PAID

The free tier is enough for casual sellers. Active sellers and small shops can subscribe to Pro for higher limits and priority placement. Full pricing on the Pricing page; full mechanics on the Billing page.

Per-listing add-ons (one-time, available to free + Pro)

• Boost — 800 ֏, top of search for 7 days. Pro subscribers get the first 2 boosts each month free.
• Urgent badge — 400 ֏, red URGENT label for 7 days.
• Refresh — 400 ֏, bumps your listing back to the top as if just posted. Available 7+ days after posting.
• Feature event — 2 000 ֏, your event sits on the homepage for 7 days.

Referrals

• Every account has a unique referral code shown on the dashboard.
• When a friend signs up with your link haypublic.com/auth.html?ref=YOURCODE and buys their first Pro subscription, both of you get +30 days of Pro free. No cap.

Payment

• Payments are processed by IDram, the standard Armenian payment gateway. You're redirected to money.idram.am, complete payment there, and bounced back to Haypublic with your subscription active.
• We do not store your card or banking data. Only IDram sees the payment instrument; we receive a confirmation token from IDram.
• All prices are in Armenian Dram (֏). USD figures shown elsewhere are approximations for orientation.

Contact requirements

• Email is required on every listing and event you post. It's the canonical contact channel.
• Phone is optional but recommended for faster contact. If you provide one, buyers see only a "Call" button — your number is never displayed as raw text.
• Buyers/participants must be signed in to view your contact info. Anonymous viewers are bounced through sign-in first.

Reviews and ratings

• Any signed-in user can leave a 1–5 star rating + an optional comment on someone else's listing.
• You cannot review your own listing.
• Reviews are public and tied to your @username.
• You can edit or remove your own review at any time.
• Each seller has a rolling average rating that appears on their profile page.
• Fake / coordinated / paid reviews are a ban-worthy offense (see § 3 prohibited content).

Editing and deleting

• You can delete any of your own listings or events from the My listings / My events tabs in your dashboard. Deletion is permanent and removes attached photos, videos, RSVPs, messages, and reviews.
• To edit a listing's text, photos, or photo order: there's no in-place edit yet — delete and re-post (re-post counts toward your monthly listing quota).

Sign-in

• Sign in with email + password.
• Biometric sign-in (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, Windows Hello) is offered when you first register and from the dashboard. Your biometrics never leave your device — we only store the public key your device generates.

2. What's allowed OK

• Genuine job offers with realistic pay, location, and schedule.
• Resumes for yourself looking for work.
• Real estate — apartments, houses, offices, shops, warehouses, land you own or are authorized to rent/sell.
• Vehicles — cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, parts that are yours and have clean title.
• Services — home repair, professional, personal services you provide and have the licenses for where required.
• For-sale items that are legitimately yours and not stolen, counterfeit, or illegal.
• Free items, lost & found notices.

3. What's strictly prohibited NOT OK

3.1 Fake or misleading listings

• No fake jobs. No "earn $5,000/week from home" pyramid recruiting, no fake remote-data-entry pitches, no fake recruiter farms harvesting resumes.
• No fake real-estate. No properties you don't have authorization to rent or sell. No bait-and-switch (advertising one apartment, showing another).
• No fake services. No promising work you can't legally perform (medicine, law, accounting without a license).
• No fake account or identity. Don't pretend to be a real person, business, or government agency you're not.
• No fake reviews or testimonials in the listing description.
• No fake urgency. "Last one!", "Only today!", "Hurry before someone else takes it!" claims must be true if used.

3.2 Abuse and harassment

• No harassment of other users, the moderation team, or anyone named in a listing.
• No threats of any kind — physical, financial, legal, or reputational.
• No hate speech. No content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• No doxxing. Don't post anyone's real name, address, phone number, workplace, or other personally identifying information without consent (your own contact info is fine — that's the point of a listing).
• No discrimination. Job and housing listings must comply with anti-discrimination laws (US Fair Housing Act, ADA, Title VII; RA Law on Ensuring Equal Rights and Equal Opportunities). No "no [race/religion/etc] need apply", no "[gender]-only" jobs except where a real and bona-fide occupational qualification applies and is stated.

3.3 Spam

• No duplicates. Don't post the same listing across multiple categories or under multiple titles.
• No reposts of the same item more than once every 7 days.
• No keyword stuffing. Don't pad the description with unrelated terms to game search.
• No mass posting. A single phone number can post at most 3 listings per 24 hours; a single IP address at most 5.
• No off-topic listings. If your "for sale" listing is actually a recruitment funnel for an MLM, it gets removed.

3.4 Phishing, scams, and fraud

• No phishing. Don't direct buyers to links that harvest credentials, install malware, or impersonate banks, government, or known marketplaces.
• No advance-fee scams. No "send a deposit before viewing", no "wire the holding fee first", no Western Union / MoneyGram / gift-card payment schemes.
• No fake escrow. No links to fake escrow services. Apartment scams asking for "MoveIn fee" before showing the unit are auto-banned.
• No counterfeit goods. Replica handbags, fake watches, knock-off electronics — all prohibited.
• No stolen goods. If you can't prove provenance for a high-value item, don't list it.
• No financial scams. No "guaranteed returns" investment offers, no FX/crypto pump signals, no Ponzi recruiting, no pyramid schemes, no chain-letter / inheritance scams.
• No identity-theft solicitations. No requests for SSN, passport scans, banking credentials, or other sensitive personal data inside a listing or chat.

3.5 Illegal goods and services

• No drugs, controlled substances, prescription medication.
• No weapons (firearms, ammunition, explosives) — sales of these require licensed dealers per federal/state law.
• No human-related sales — adoption services, surrogacy, organs, blood, body parts.
• No sexual services, escort services, or adult content of any kind.
• No tobacco, vaping products, or alcohol sales (requires alcohol license).
• No animals where prohibited locally (some jurisdictions ban pet sales on classifieds).
• No "loosies" (untaxed cigarettes), no fireworks where banned.
• No services that require a license you don't hold (electrical, plumbing, medical, legal, real-estate brokerage).

3.6 Sexual content and content involving minors

• No sexual content. No nudity, sexual solicitation, sexually suggestive direct messages.
• No content involving minors. Any sexual content involving anyone who could be a minor is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline within 24 hours under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and similar Armenian and EU laws. The account is permanently banned and the device blocked.

3.7 Platform abuse

• No bots, scrapers, or automated submissions.
• No attempts to bypass our moderation, rate limits, or device bans.
• No reverse-engineering, decompiling, or exploiting the platform.
• No DoS attempts, spam waves, or content floods.
• No reselling Haypublic accounts.

4. Moderation & staff

• Listings publish immediately after you submit them — there's no manual approval queue.
• Our moderation team reviews listings post-hoc, typically within a few hours of submission. If your listing breaks any rule in section 3, we remove it. We may email you to explain why.
• Repeated violations result in permanent account ban and your phone number + IP being added to a blocklist. When an account is banned, all sessions are revoked instantly and biometric / passkey credentials tied to it stop working.
• Severe violations (CSAE, fraud, illegal goods, violence threats) are reported to law enforcement. We cooperate with valid subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants.
• Rate limits: 5 submissions per IP per 24 hours, 3 per phone number per 24 hours.
• Moderation is performed by four staff roles in increasing privilege: Support (read-only), Official (moderation + grant Pro), Admin (revoke Pro + view revenue + ban users), and Almighty (delete accounts, manage staff). Every staff action is recorded in an internal audit log with the actor, role, target, timestamp, and reason — readable by Admin+ for accountability.

4b. Account suspension & appeals

• If your account is banned, you'll be unable to sign in. The home page and listings stay browsable.
• Active subscriptions are not refunded when an account is banned for breaking the rules. (See Billing for the refund policy.)
• If you believe a ban was made in error, email turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com with your @username and a description. We respond within 5 business days. Almighty reviews appeals.

5. Reporting a listing

See a listing that breaks the rules? Email turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com with the listing URL and a short note about what's wrong. We typically respond within 24 hours. For urgent safety issues (CSAE, immediate physical danger, active fraud), prefer law enforcement first and us second.

6. Liability disclaimer

Haypublic is a venue. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any listing. We don't broker transactions, hold money, or provide escrow. Anything you do with another user — viewing apartments, exchanging money, signing employment offers — is between you and them. Meet in public. Pay safely. Use legitimate escrow for high-value transactions. Verify documents independently.

7. Changes to these rules

We may update these rules as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and at haypublic.com/rules. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
