Billing & refunds
This page explains how money moves through Haypublic — how subscriptions work, how add-ons are charged, how the IDram payment flow looks from your side, and what happens if you want a refund. For the legally binding version, see the Terms of Service; this page is the plain-language companion.
1. What you can buy

2. How the payment flow works
- You click Upgrade on the Pricing page or "Boost" on one of your listings.
- We create a pending payment record with a unique bill number (e.g.
H17774909316395) and forward your browser to IDram (money.idram.am) with: bill number, amount, language, our merchant account. - You complete payment on the IDram page. We never see your card, wallet, CVC, or banking credentials.
- IDram sends a server-to-server callback to
haypublic.com/api/marketplace/billing/idram/callbackwith the transaction ID and a SHA-1 signature. - We verify the signature against our shared secret, look up the bill number, and — if the amount matches — activate your subscription or add-on automatically. Typical end-to-end time: 2–5 seconds.
- You're returned to a confirmation page. Your dashboard shows the new plan, the expiry date, and a transaction record.
3. What we store about your billing
- Your plan (free / pro), the start date, and the end date.
- Each transaction: bill number, amount in ֏, the IDram transaction ID, the channel (idram / admin / referral), and the timestamp.
- Each add-on purchase: which listing or event, which add-on, duration, amount.
- Your referral code and (if you signed up via someone else's link) the user-id of the referrer.
We do not store: card numbers, CVCs, IDram wallet identifiers, IBANs, or any payment instrument data. IDram is the data controller for that information. See Privacy Policy § 4e.
4. Subscription mechanics
- Subscriptions do not auto-renew. They lapse to Free at the end of the term unless you click "Upgrade" again.
- If you renew before the current term ends, the new days are added on top of your existing expiry date — you don't lose any time.
- Your tier is checked at posting time. Listings posted while you were Pro keep their 90-day expiry even if your subscription lapses afterwards.
- Pro subscribers get 2 free Boosts each calendar month. Unused free Boosts do not roll over into the next month.
- Add-ons (Boost / Urgent / Feature) end automatically when their 7-day window expires; Refresh applies once and is not time-bound. You don't need to cancel anything.
5. Referral bonus
- Every account has a unique 8-character referral code visible on the Subscription tab in your dashboard.
- Share your link
haypublic.com/auth.html?ref=YOURCODE. - When a friend signs up with your code AND buys their first Pro subscription, both of you get +30 days of Pro free. The bonus is recorded as a separate transaction with channel
referral. - No cap on how many friends you can refer.
- Bonuses don't apply to add-ons — only to a paid subscription.
6. Refund policy
The full legal version is in Terms § 6d. In plain language:
- EU / EEA consumers, within 14 days of payment: pro-rata refund if you have made no use of the paid features. Email us within 14 days; we process within 5 business days.
- Anyone, any time: refund if the failure is on our side — we never activated your subscription, the platform was offline beyond our SLA, you were charged twice, etc.
- Outside the 14-day window, where you used the features: subscriptions and add-ons are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
- If your account is banned for breaking the Community Rules: paid time is forfeit. If banned for our error, we refund pro-rata.
- If we shut Haypublic down: pro-rata refund of unused subscription time.
Refunds are returned to the IDram account that paid. They appear within 1–7 business days depending on IDram's processing.
7. Currency, taxes, invoices
- All prices are in Armenian Dram (֏). USD figures elsewhere on the site are orientation only and may not match the exact dram amount due to FX.
- Prices include any applicable Armenian VAT (turnover tax thresholds permitting).
- You can request an invoice or a JSON export of your transactions any time by emailing turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com with your @username. We respond within 5 business days. (You can also see your transaction history in your dashboard's Subscription tab.)
- Per Armenian accounting law (RA Law on Accounting), we keep transaction records for 7 years; this overrides "delete my data" requests for billing data.
8. Manual / bank-transfer payments
If IDram isn't available to you (e.g., you're paying from outside Armenia and Stripe isn't live yet), email us. We can:
- Send you bank details for a wire transfer in ֏ or USD equivalent, then activate your plan manually within 24 hours of payment landing.
- Issue you a one-time admin grant if there is a temporary IDram outage — settled later when service resumes.
Manually-granted subscriptions appear with channel admin in your transaction history.
9. Disputes & chargebacks
- If you don't recognise a charge from "Haypublic" on your IDram statement, please email us first — we usually resolve in under an hour.
- Initiating a chargeback through IDram before contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.
- For payment-side disputes that we cannot resolve, IDram's arbitration process applies; for content / service disputes, see Terms § 12 (Armenian law, Yerevan courts).
10. Changes to billing
We may change pricing, plan limits, and add-on availability at any time. Changes apply only to future purchases — your current subscription term and add-ons keep their original price and benefits until they expire. Material changes are announced on the homepage.
